The most challenging element of this project was the sourcing of the materials to make the product and sourcing a reliable factory who could handle working with used denim. I found a factory based in Los Angeles after speaking with numerous places, it was a challenge to communicate with the factory once things were in motion. The location of the factory was also a bit of a challenge for managing the progress.

RESULTS

After the factory agreed to take on my project and we agreed on a price, keeping communication with the factory was challenging but I was persistent about checking up on progress. A key contact who was there at the start was no longer there when it was completed so I had to constantly keep in touch with another contact at the factory who would not get back to me in a timely manner.
